Horizon of Hope Kick Off

CEO Tami Longaberger welcomed more than 120 breast cancer survivors to her home for a luncheon to kick off our annual Horizon of Hope campaign. The event celebrates women who are living life to the fullest in the face of a breast cancer diagnosis. Tami has held the luncheon for five years to spread the message of hope and bring to life the meaningful initiatives that have been made possible through those who support Horizon of Hope.

Speakers included Dr. Robert Smith, cancer epidemiologist and director of cancer screening at the National Office of the American Cancer Society in Atlanta, and Dr. Electra Paskett, professor in the College of Public Health at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Care Center and director of the Diversity Enhancement Program at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Through Horizon of Hope, Longaberger Home Consultants, employees and customers join together to support American Cancer Society breast cancer research, education and awareness programs. To date, we’ve partnered to raise more than $14 million and touch 20 million women nationwide with potentially life-saving information about early detection and healthy habits.
